Jenn Mehmke is a somatic therapist, yoga educator, and dancer with 25+ years of teaching experience. She offers private coaching sessions, leads groups and retreats, and provides organizational wellness consulting. She encourages play and self-compassion, while working beyond surface symptoms to address the deeper roots of suffering, discomfort, and disconnection. Jenn began studying yoga in 1996 and continues lifelong studies in yoga therapy with Svastha Yoga (of Chennai, India). In 2023, she completed a certification in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy (ISTT) through the Embody Lab. Jenn is a lifelong learner, pursuing training in neuroscience, mindfulness, trauma-recovery, LGBTGEQIAP+ safe spaces, and expressive arts therapy. In 2025, she will receive a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Providence. By sharing tools for embodying self-care, Jenn aims to empower her clients to establish daily practices that promote whole person healing, embracing the changes and challenges that life provides. Her client-centered, trauma-informed approach facilitates the co-creation of personalized wellness practices that safely address the unique needs of each client. Jenn takes an integrated approach to coaching and somatic psychotherapy, informed by her expertise in psychology, trauma recovery, yoga therapy, dance, and somatics to deliver a grounded, compassionate, and effective therapeutic experience for her clients.
